The exhibition

In a world where nature takes center stage once again in an enchanting rendezvous at the Mary Cairncross Reserve Gallery in Maleny. From the 25th of November to the 3rd of December in the year 2023, an extraordinary body of work is poised to grace the walls of this cherished enclave, beckoning admirers and aficionados alike to immerse themselves in a narrative woven by our native pollinators.

The 28 resplendent pieces on display will unveil a captivating tapestry of the natural world - an ode to the tireless workers of our ecosystems—the pollinators that, often unnoticed, are the silent heroes of our botanical realm.

The book

These remarkable works, crafted with a devotion to authenticity, embrace a familiar cadence, mirroring the format of Jim's previous exhibition and book launch, the evocative 'SOS - Save our Species' last July. Like a symphony of continuity, they carry forward a message of conservation, paying homage to the delicate balance of life that sustains us all.

But the enchantment doesn't end with the canvases alone. Intertwined with these visual delights are the words of Elaine Green, whose prose adorns the pages of a forthcoming publication. Her words, a harmonious duet with Jim's artistry, usher readers into a world where beauty and information coalesce, offering a sanctuary for the curious and the concerned.
